Well done good people, very kind. Heads up don't use card. Only cash or check I ordered a burger and fries and they're very good and well priced.
Found this gem and my first time visit, Sat 10/28/23. I always rather go to a local restaurant that care and are part of the community instead of chain places. Lovely little place. Actually have door to go in a small area for take out orders, another to go into the sit down restaurant. Nicely decorated, very clean, even the 1 shared restroom was very clean! A few locals were there with me. The only negative was they only take cash, but there is a ATM inside. I was having a hard time deciding what to order, I was down to the spaghetti on special or BBQ platter. I asked if it was possible to get a small bite to sample to help make my decision. I'm grateful that they were glad to. They both tasted so good, I wanted to order both, but decided on the spaghetti. It came with salad and bread. The lady that waited on me answered my questions, and sd she was new so she'd go ask the owner about my request. My food came out timely, salad was cold and spaghetti piping hot, as should be. All 3 staff/ owner I had contact with were friendly and efficient! I'll definitely be back the next time I have to come back to C'ville for an appt at UVA. Thank you for a enjoyable meal and experience. PS, I'm handicap, on a cane, and I found all area's are very easily accessible. Plenty of room in the extra wide booths and the restroom.
A cute diner with nice employees and great food. The hot dogs are worth checking out. The fries and onion rings are great. The milkshakes are pretty good for dessert. There is a good amount of seating for a diner which is great.
Footlong chilli/cheese dog was everything i hoped for. BBQ Sandwich was so good i had to hold it away from my face and look at it twice before i believed this was coming out of a little diner spot. And the service, if i could rate this higher id give it a 10star. Hands down exceptional. I felt cozy and comfortable eating there all by myself. They went above and beyond anything i experience in Richmond and it was clear, thats just who they are. Round of applause for this place. Well done yall.
We love Jack n Jill. The staff is very friendly. They always go above and beyond for customers. The food is always fresh and cooked to order. I love everything I've ever eaten here. My son and I come in once or twice a week. The price is very reasonable and we love it!
Fantastic Footlong Hot Dog!! The Chile has a wonderful meaty taste, great accompaniment for the dog. Service was fast, friendly, and with a smile . Menu looked extensively homey! I can see why they have been around since 1945! Will return for a dinner experience.
Friendly attentive customer service. Stopped in while traveling through town and ate at the counter for that nostalgic feel. Good food, great service, it's no wonder they have been in business since 1945.

Great little restaurant, parking is tight, ( especially in back) but food was well worth it. Had the triple club, they bring you a ton of fries , next time will definitely try a footlong hot dog, lots of locals eat here seems like. Small dining area but the food is delicious.
